OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

Below are the official contest rules for the Texas Deer Cams Monthly Photo Contests.

1. CONTEST ELIGIBILITY: Only paid Texas Deer Cams Members (both Yearly and Monthly) are eligible to enter contest. Each membership is allowed only one entry per month in the photo contest. Employees of Texas Deer Cams along with their immediate family members (spouses, children, siblings, parents and their respective spouses) and members of the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Complimentary memberships given to game ranch employees and Texas Deer Cams business associates are not eligible to enter or win. Members may not win two months in a row. However, there is no limit on how many monthly photo contests a member may enter until they win. There is also no limit on the number of memberships an individual can purchase.
2. CONTEST RULES: Contest photo theme will be announced via a message posted in the Contest section the web site during the first week of the month. All submissions must be from a Texas Deer Cams online web camera and be submitted via the online form. No photo editing or retouching is allowed. Photos submitted for the monthly contest must be taken after the contest has been announced. Photo submissions will be allowed for fourteen (14) days following the contest announcement and be limited to the first ten (10) complete submissions. Once the photo que is full, online voting will start. Voting is open to all Texas Deer Cams visitors and subscribers. Only one (1) vote per person per day (24 hours), tracked by IP address and web browser cookie, will be allowed. Voting will end at midnight (Central Time) of the last day of the month. In case of a tie, a run-off vote will be held for thirty six (36) hours including only the previous entries that were tied.
3. WINNING: The entry that accrues the greatest number of votes will be deemed the winner. Winner will be announced via a posting on the Main Page and Contest Page on website within seven (7) calendar days of the voting period ending. This announcement will be the only notification the winner will receive. Contest winner has ten (10) days to to claim prize. Failure to notify Texas Deer Cams to claim prize within this time frame will result in the prize being forfeited. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. There will be no Second or Third Place prizes. However, participation in the Monthly Photo Contest will earn Yearly Membership participants an extra entry into the yearly hunt giveaways.
4. PRIZE RETAIL VALUE: Contest prizes will be selected by Texas Deer Cams and announced in the Monthly Photo Contests theme announcement. Prize value is determined by the Manufacturer's MSRP. Monthly Members will win an upgrade to a Yearly Membership in lieu of the listed prize. No other substitutions or cash redemptions. Texas Deer Cams reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the advertized prize become unavailable. Prizes will be shipped direct from Texas Deer Cam's retailer of choice using ground shipping. Texas Deer Cams is not responsible for return or replacement shipping fees on prizes that arrive non-operational.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, participants agree to these official rules and the decisions of Texas Deer Cams, which are final. All promotion materials (including the contest photos) submitted become the sole property of Texas Deer Cams and will not be returned. By entering, entrant agrees to release and hold Texas Deer Cams harmless from any claim related to the acceptance of a prize or participation in this promotion. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner's name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, except where prohibited or as restricted by law. Photo entries are void if not obtained thru a Texas Deer Cams online camera, and taken during the photo contest entry period (the time between the monthly photo contest theme announcement and the end of submission acceptance). By participating, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforcement of these Official Rules, participant's rights and obligations, or the right and obligations of Texas Deer Cams, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Houston, Texas.
